Prime Minister Harper and Premier McGuinty have teamed up to hike taxes on you and your family.

The HST (Harmonized Sales Tax) will blend the Ontario Provincial Sales Tax (PST) and the Goods and Services Tax (GST) to create a new sales tax that will be applied to almost everything, including a vast range of things you currently don't pay the PST on.

The HST will cost you 8% more for:

• Home utilities
• Condo fees
• Children's clothing

The HST is an unfair tax hike on everything you and your family need. A shaky recovery from the worst recession in decades is the wrong time to raise taxes.

It's not too late to Fight the Hike!
Harper is sending McGuinty a $4.3 Billion payoff - of your tax dollars - to impose the HST on you. This payoff has yet to be voted on in the House of Commons, and without it, the provincial government won’t implement the HST. Tell Harper to cancel the payoff and any HST legislation.
